JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager, HR Systems is responsible for owning the strategy, design, and execution of people analytics capabilities within Workday. This role leads advanced analytics delivery through Workday Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards, and Composite Reporting, while also overseeing inbound and outbound integrations that support enterprise workforce data and insights. 

This position serves as a strategic partner to HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to ensure Workday is leveraged as a trusted, scalable, and insights-driven platform that enables data-driven workforce decisions. 

 

  • Design frameworks to connect business and people data together to identify and solve complex business problems and deliver an impact on people's experience, performance and culture 

  • Collect, analyze and interpret data and information from a variety of systems and sources (i.e., Workday, payroll outputs, etc.) 

  • Translate complex workforce questions into actionable dashboards, scorecards, and analytical models for executive, HR, and business leaders. 

  • Design and develop people analytics products - ranging from core to predictive capabilities across the employee lifecycle - to deliver insights and analysis, and drive adoption at various levels of the organization 

  • Enable the success of org initiatives by generating and presenting actionable insights, and identify gaps and opportunities 

  • Utilize data mining techniques to track, trend and interpret multiple data points to conduct consistent and comprehensive analysis; includes identifying variances, resolving issues and providing key insights into people related activities such as, recruitment, retention, engagement, annual performance and/or other HR related initiatives 

  • Establish reporting standards, data definitions, and analytics governance to ensure consistency and trust in workforce insights. 

  • Partner with IT and integration teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, security, and performance across systems. 

  • Oversee monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of integrations impacting analytics and reporting. 

  • Prepare reports and dashboards, as needed for client groups and/or senior leadership 

  • Use various tools and techniques to validate, import, clean, merge, and manipulate data to prepare for data analysis 

  • Document processes and work performed; maintain record of data sources and methods used to reach conclusions 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Analytics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).  

  • 8+ years of experience in HR Systems and/or People Analytics, with deep hands-on Workday HCM experience. 

  • Significant experience with Workday HR domain areas, including Prism and People Analytics 

  • Significant experience with Workday reporting (advanced, matrix, composite) 

  • Experience with data visualization platforms 

  • Extensive experience and understanding of HR function and operational processes 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, commercially focused and customer-driven 

  • Ability to present to, facilitate and influence leaders/partners 

  • Familiarity with integrations (WD Studio, core connectors) 

  • Strong data analysis, research, analytical and testing skills 

  • Financial & business Acumen 

  • Experience in retail/high volume hiring preferred

Compensation Range:

$130,600.00 - $233,300.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
