Job Overview
Leads the build out, development, and management of multiple teams of developers, who will establish and help in building & maintaining systems, platforms and tools.. They rapidly deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They build short and long term technical strategy in partnership with multiple broad organizational partners and work closely with IT partner teams working on multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own multi-platform operations across on-prem data centers and diverse public-cloud stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring consistent standards, tooling, and governance no matter where workloads run.
  • Lead 24×7 production support—build and mentor a cross-functional SRE/ops team, define on-call rotations, and serve as the final escalation point for high-severity incidents and post-mortems.
  • Drive automation & CI/CD maturity by expanding infrastructure-as-code, release orchestration, and self-service tooling to cut deployment times and lower mean-time-to-restore (MTTR).
  • Implement deep observability (logging, metrics, tracing, APM) and capacity-planning frameworks, turning real-time telemetry into proactive performance tuning and cost optimization.
  • Enforce rigorous change & compliance processes—integrate security, SOX/PCI/GDPR controls, and disaster-recovery testing into every stage of the release and infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Shape long-term platform strategy—evaluate emerging technologies, negotiate vendor contracts, and align roadmaps with product engineering and business goals to continuously improve reliability and customer experience

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or in a computer programming related field or equivalent work experience (Required)
  • 7-10 years Experience of developing large scale business systems applications. (Required)
  • 2-4 years Management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for 4 large projects. (Required)
  • More than 10 years Overall IT experience. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Microsoft Office (Required)
  • Visual Studio Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment preferred. (Required)
  • Microsoft SharePoint (Required)
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (Required)

    Base Pay Range: $159,900 - $288,500

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
