About this role

This role is responsible for developing and owning public relations programs that drive Aidoc’s visibility, brand leadership, and media impact. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic communicator with strong execution skills who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

This individual will lead and manage PR efforts, media relations, industry visibility and executive communications working cross-functionally to tell Aidoc’s story and ensure clear, strategic execution. The ability to drive initiatives forward, manage agency partners effectively, and proactively identify media opportunities is critical for success.


Responsibilities
  • Owns and drives PR and media strategy execution, ensuring alignment with Aidoc’s corporate goals.
  • Leads and manages PR agency relationships, setting clear priorities, expectations, and KPIs while ensuring results-driven execution.
  • Develops and executes proactive PR plans, including structured media outreach and pitching strategies to secure meaningful coverage.
  • Works closely with the VP of Brand & Communications to set strategy, priorities and execution plans for all external communications efforts.
  • Regularly pitches and secures media coverage, positioning Aidoc’s brand as a leader in the industry.
  • Establishes a clear media reporting process, tracking secured coverage, outreach and impact.
  • Advises and supports executives on media training, interviews and thought leadership positioning.
  • Leads and executes industry visibility efforts, including award nominations, speaking opportunities and industry analyst engagement.
  • Oversees brand and executive social accounts, driving consistent and strategic engagement.
  • Uses 1:1s with leadership effectively coming prepared with strategic updates, challenges and recommendations (not just status updates).
  • Collaborates across departments to ensure PR aligns with overall business and communications strategies.
  • Stays ahead of industry trends and competitive activity, providing insights to inform Aidoc’s PR efforts.

Requirements
  • Proven track record of ownership and leadership in PR, media relations, and external communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategic PR campaigns that generate meaningful media coverage.
  • Strong agency management skills - must be able to set clear objectives, provide strategic direction, and drive agency partners toward results.
  • Experience in healthcare technology or AI preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to engage and manage executive stakeholders, providing media coaching and messaging support.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership strategies, securing interviews and placing bylines.
  • Familiarity with industry analyst engagement and media positioning.
  • Ability to lead, execute and measure industry visibility programs (awards, speaking opportunities, media events).
  • Proven ability to navigate complexity and drive forward progress.
  • Experience overseeing brand and executive social accounts, ensuring alignment with Aidoc’s external communications.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving environment and proactively identifies challenges, solutions, and opportunities.
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism.
  • Strong preference for candidates with both in-house and agency experience.
