Job Title: Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A
Reports to: Associate Vice President, Corporate FP&A
Location: US - Boston, MA, Houston, TX

A quick snapshot…

As Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A at Conga, you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s financial story and longterm outlook. You’ll support multiyear financial planning, exitrate and runrate analysis, executivelevel reporting, and ad hoc strategic analysis for senior leadership.

This role sits within Corporate FP&A and partners closely with Finance leadership to translate complex financial data into clear, decisionready insights for the CFO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors. A portion of your role will be intentionally unspecified, allowing flexibility to take on urgent priorities and highimpact strategic initiatives as they arise.

Why it’s a big deal…

At Conga, our Finance team is essential to our success. The insights and analyses you deliver will directly influence enterpriselevel decisions, support longrange strategy, and help leadership understand where the business is headed — and why.

This role provides a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of financial modeling, strategic thinking, and executive communication, helping to ensure alignment across planning cycles and leadership forums.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Related experience

You have 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, or related fields, ideally within a SaaS or technologyenabled company. You’ve supported executive leadership with forwardlooking financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executivelevel materials. You’ve built robust financial models, runrate and bridge analyses, and concise reporting that enables confident decisionmaking — especially using Excel.

You have a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operating principles and can translate those concepts into insights others can easily understand and act on.

Influence change

You take initiative to understand the business’s needs and challenges — often before they’re fully articulated. You form thoughtful, datadriven perspectives on key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and you use those insights to influence decisions at the senior leadership level.

Because of the transparency, authenticity, humility, and rigor you bring to your work, your peers and leaders trust your analysis and judgment.

Initiative

You don’t wait for direction to create impact. You’re proactive about identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and owning outcomes — even when the work falls outside a clearly defined scope. You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and enjoy tackling unstructured problems that matter to the business.

Strategic mindset

You’re accustomed to thinking beyond the current quarter. You’re comfortable working with multiyear plans, exitrate views, runrate normalization, and scenario analysis, and you understand how to connect nearterm performance to longterm strategy.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is highly preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

  • Handson experience with FP&A systems and tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience supporting Boardlevel or executivelevel financial materials.
  • Exposure to corporate strategy initiatives, capital planning, or M&Arelated analysis.
  • Strong executive communication and financial storytelling skills.

Qualityoriented

You care deeply about accuracy and clarity. You build processes that minimize errors, and when mistakes do happen, you own them, fix them, and improve the process so it doesn’t happen again. Your transparency and accountability set you apart.

Resourceful & collaborative

At Conga, we achieve together. You seek out answers, leverage your network, and collaborate across teams to get the job done. You apply what you learn broadly and thoughtfully to improve outcomes across the business.

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination.  In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
