About Engine

At Engine, we're transforming business travel into something personalized, rewarding, and simple. For too long, managing travel and spend has been overwhelming and fragmented — we're here to change that.

We believe the future of travel should be seamless and powered by technology that delights customers at every step. That's why we're building a platform that brings together corporate travel, a powerful charge card, and modern spend management in one place.

To make this vision real, we're looking for exceptional, mission-driven people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel.

More than 30,000 companies already rely on Engine to support over 1 million travelers and billions in annual bookings each year. Cash flow positive with rapid growth, we pair exclusive Engine-only rates, industry-leading rewards, and intelligent automation to help businesses save money while delivering world-class personalization and convenience.

Backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, and Permira, Engine has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing travel and fintech platforms in North America, with honors including the Deloitte Fast 500 and Built In's Best Places to Work.

About the Role

As Partner Success Manager, Technology Partners, you will own a portfolio of Engine's technology and distribution partner relationships: OTAs, GDS partners, connectivity and channel partners. You will be the day-to-day technical and commercial point of contact responsible for partner health, integration performance, and revenue growth across your book.

This is a technical account management role. You will run the operating rhythm of your accounts: keeping integrations healthy and content accurate, resolving issues at the root cause with partner and Engine engineering teams, bringing newly signed connections live, and growing the revenue that flows through each partner. Your mandate is to grow and operate the partnerships in your book.

The role needs technical fluency, commercial awareness, and strong organizational discipline. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Connectivity, Pricing, Operations, and Finance to turn partner issues and opportunities into delivered outcomes.

You will work with both engineering and commercial leaders at partner companies. We're looking for someone who can debug a failing booking flow with a partner's engineers in the morning and run a business review with their commercial team in the afternoon.

What You'll Do

  • Own a portfolio of technology and distribution partner accounts, including OTAs, GDS partners, connectivity and channel partners, as the primary relationship owner and day-to-day technical and commercial point of contact
  • Monitor integration and API health across your book (availability and response times, error rates, throughput against rate limits, look-to-book, booking success) and act before degradation reaches travelers
  • Own content quality with each partner: availability and rate accuracy, property and room mapping, and data quality. Find where content is missing, stale, and drive the fix
  • Lead incident escalation for partner-related issues. Triage severity and blast radius, coordinate with partner and Engine engineering teams, work out whether the fault sits with Engine or the partner, and see root-cause analysis and corrective actions through to closure
  • Onboard and activate new connectivity sources and expanded scopes once signed: requirements, credentials and access, certification and testing, go-live, and early monitoring. Hand off to steady state with clear success criteria
  • Grow revenue through your partners by improving conversion and booking reliability, expanding content coverage and use cases, and making sure connected content is live, competitive, and actually booked
  • Run the partner cadence: QBRs, technical and performance reviews, working sessions, and escalation paths. Hold both sides to agreed commitments
  • Translate partner capabilities, roadmap changes, and API version updates into clear technical requirements for Engine Product and Engineering, and represent Engine's needs in partners' roadmaps
  • Support leadership on commercial terms and renewals: prepare performance and volume analysis, model incentive and tier programs, track terms and obligations, and manage follow-through
  • Maintain accurate partner records, integration documentation, contacts, contract terms, and issue logs
  • Track developments in travel distribution and connectivity (API standards, distribution models, and partner platform changes) to inform partner conversations and internal priorities

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in technical account management, partner or integration management, solutions or implementation roles, or a similar partner-facing role at a travel technology, API, or platform business
  • Working technical fluency: comfortable reading API documentation, inspecting XML and JSON requests and responses, reviewing logs, and testing calls with tools like Postman. SQL, or comfort pulling and analyzing your own data, is strongly preferred
  • A working understanding of travel distribution architecture: how content moves between suppliers, CRS, channel managers, switches, GDSs, OTAs, and aggregators, and where it tends to break
  • Commercial account management instincts: you connect integration performance to revenue, find growth opportunities, and make a data-backed case for them
  • A track record of resolving complex, multi-party technical issues through structured triage, clear ownership, and disciplined follow-through
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, so you can manage several partner workstreams, incidents, and onboardings at the same time without dropping anything
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication with both technical and commercial audiences, including partner executives
  • Comfortable using AI and modern tools to streamline workflows, speed up diagnosis, and operate well in a fast-moving environment

Applications for this role will be accepted through January 28, 2027 or until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
