About the Team

The Global Partner Organization (GPO) develops partnerships that accelerate innovation and growth. We achieve this through industry differentiation, expanded reach, and exceptional customer success. This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team driving rapid, global paradigm shifts, adopting a modern ecosystem, and implementing a unified, global partner strategy with local flavor. Our work involves cross-functional engagement across programs, systems, processes, and people.

About the Role

The GPO is looking for a North America Senior Partner Success Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll empower successful deployment outcomes throughout our global services partner ecosystem. You'll be an expert in the Workday Deployment Methodology, providing guidance and expertise to our partners. This team works collaboratively across the Workday Partner Management and Customer Experience (CX) organizations to support partners on high-risk projects that need extra care or assistance.

You'll build executive-level relationships and influence our team's roadmap by providing management with insights based on key trends and themes identified within our partner ecosystem. Your strategic ideas will directly address these issues.

We are also seeking someone with a strong familiarity with Product Leads in a software ecosystem. You should have a proven propensity and track record for managing and delivering process improvements, potentially with a background or education in methodologies like Six Sigma.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver partner assistance offerings to encourage successful deployments and services practices.

  • Serve as a guide and expert on delivery methodology to new and existing partners.

  • Ensure partners are aligned with required components of scorecard maintenance, audit reporting, and deployment methodology.

  • Work closely with the partner, Partner Manager, and CX team on deploying customer concerns, including assessing project issues, recommending and driving remediation steps, preparing executive communications, and collaborating with GPO and CX team members to enable successful outcomes.

  • Influence processes aimed at services partner success to ensure they work for and are adopted by partners and internal Workday teams globally.

  • Develop processes and standards for partner-primed deployment issues, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a deployment expert for services partner transformation initiatives.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management with Workday HCM, Payroll, Financial, or similar implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, or Fortune 500 customers.

  • 3+ years working with Workday services deployment partners

Other Qualifications

  • Highly professional and consultative working style; a strong individual contributor.

  • A collaborative team player, self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a global team.

  • Ability to build credibility and trust to drive engagement and results.

  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills when working with partners.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing business priorities.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, capable of clearly articulating messages to a variety of colleagues and audiences.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to thrive in ambiguous situations.

  • Forward-looking with a broad approach to solutions.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Solid understanding of at least one of the following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Services Procurement, or Professional Services Automation (PSA).

  • Passion for customer service and outcomes.

  • Previous experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering process improvements, with a track record of successful implementation.

  • Familiarity with the role and needs of Product Leads within a software ecosystem.

  • Background or education in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma is highly desirable.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
