The Opportunity

Flock Safety is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to serve as the subject matter expert and leader responsible for professionalizing and scaling our non-inventory procurement function. You will own the development, implementation, and governance of all sourcing policies, driving substantial efficiency and cost-savings across critical spend categories, particularly Enterprise SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS), Supply Chain and R&D/Engineering Services.

This is a highly visible leadership role that reports into the Accounting organization and acts as a pivotal strategic partner across FP&A, Legal, IT, Supply Chain, Security, Engineering, and Operations teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into scalable processes, offering substantial exposure and the opportunity to directly impact financial controls and strategic decision-making in a hyper-growth environment.

The Skillset:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement, with at least 5 years of direct leadership/mentorship experience.

  • Mandatory deep expertise sourcing, negotiating, and managing Enterprise SaaS and IaaS (Cloud) contracts, preferably in a technology or hardware-as-a-service company.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO, GDPR impact on vendor selection).

  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar contract portfolios and influencing cross-functional C-Suite stakeholders.

  • Advanced analytical abilities, proficient in utilizing data and financial modeling to deliver measurable cost savings and support strategic business decisions.

  • Expert proficiency in using modern procurement platforms like Coupa is required.

  • Experience with contract law, licensing models, and robust Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) frameworks.

  • Ability to thrive, lead, and maintain rigorous accuracy in a high-pressure, rapidly evolving environment.

Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
