Stellar Cyber has been recognized by Gartner as one of the leading XDR players.

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Product Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in UX/UI, visual design, and user research to create intuitive, aesthetically compelling, and user-centered digital experiences. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, stakeholders and users, you will influence product strategy and design direction through critical thinking and creative problem-solving. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is adept at balancing user needs with business objectives, and has a proven track record of delivering exceptional, polished products.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the product design lifecycle—from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration—ensuring high-quality, user-centered outcomes.
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs to effectively communicate concepts and ideas.
  • Act as a strategic peer to product managers and engineering leads, jointly driving product vision, shaping roadmaps, and defining priorities based on user needs and business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability tests, and user interviews to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Proactively gather customer feedback and work with product managers to recommend new feature or usability improvements
  • Clearly articulate and present design concepts, rationales, and user-experience insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Iterate quickly based on user feedback, testing data, and stakeholder input to continuously improve designs.
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure design consistency across products.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusivity throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user data and metrics to measure design impact and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices, proactively bringing new ideas and insights into the team.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating user-centric design solutions and strong visual design capabilities.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies and usability principles.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Experience designing products across multiple platforms (web, mobile, responsive design).
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective developer collaboration.
  • Background or familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG standards).
  • Experience with data visualization and interaction design.
Benefits
  • Pre-IPO Stock Options (equity opportunity)
  • Medical, Dental & Vision care
  • Life Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid time off
  • Referral Program
  • Rewards and Recognition Program

The base salary for this role will be between $160,000 and $180,000 in addition to equity and bonus. The salary at offer will be determined by a number of factors such as candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
