The global Executive Talent Practices (XTP) team develops exceptional SVP+ executives who drive innovation and success while leading an Agent-first enterprise. We offer a seamless, integrated experience where our agile leaders feel valued and thrive in disruption. By developing our senior executives, they excel at Salesforce, forming a strong leadership bench that keeps us a market leader. The key initiatives the XTP team drives include VP/SVP+ onboarding and transition support, succession planning, executive development, retention and engagement, and other special projects. We are a key partner to the broader Talent Growth & Development team and Employee Success organization for talent practices that connect to Salesforce’s global SVP+ population.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to coordinate the delivery and execution across the global Executive Talent Practices portfolio of offerings. The Senior Program Manager will be a key member of our global Executive Talent Practices team, responsible for coordinating and managing a portfolio of talent programs designed to enhance the skills and behaviors of our executives worldwide. This role involves overseeing all aspects of program and project management, from initial planning to execution and evaluation, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program/project management, a passion for talent management and executive development, the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across multiple regions, high detail orientation, and confidence connecting the dots between talent practices and business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate closely with the the broader Talent Growth & Development, operations, communications, and analytics teams who support XTP programs

  • Coordinates and compiles weekly and quarterly reporting on team progress and results

  • Provides end-to-end program management and ensures critical milestones and timelines are met.

  • Coordinate and contribute to program measurement including reporting on progress, impact and insights of the programs globally.

  • Create materials for XTP programs, including playbooks, FAQs, overview documents, executive summaries, roadmaps, project plans, etc. 

  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting systems for XTP initiatives, particularly Workday records for talent practices like succession planning; coordinate and align with People Analytics team to ensure all systems are accurate and connected for reliable reporting

  • Partners with external vendors, where appropriate, and manages/coordinates budget process and vendor agreements when necessary (working closely with the Ops team via centralized processes.

  • Communicates across XTP and with participants and stakeholders to ensure on-going participation, support, and awareness of leadership programs.

  • Drives continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), or equivalent experience

  • Project Management certification (PMP) strongly desired

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business as a project/program manager, ideally with familiarity and experience in talent management and/or executive leadership development

  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management at all levels of an organization

  • Strong program/project management skills with ability to collaborate with and lead others through influence

  • Project management software with Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets application expertise

  • Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $141,300 to $194,300.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
