Description

The Sr. Publish Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, recruiting and onboarding high-potential affiliate partners across a variety of media channels. He/She will be the driving force behind expanding our network of affiliates and drive additional meaningful revenue to the business.

The Publisher Development Manager will be working on the management and growth of initiatives for Fluent. This role will focus on managing daily communication with existing affiliate relationships as well as cultivating and identifying new opportunities. In addition, he/she will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities for vertical growth.

The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills and knowledgeable of the current digital landscape. They should have experience working in a fast-paced, result-oriented entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow the base of publishers to meet and exceed the monthly revenue targets
  • Provide ongoing support, optimizations and recommendations (including new campaigns or strategies) to help partners scale
  • Frequent communication with publishers to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships
  • Build an intimate knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends, technologies and competitor strategies
  • Participate in affiliate conferences
  • Proactively identify and recruit new affiliates, influencers and publishers via frequent outreach
  • Vet and Onboard affiliates to ensure quality compliance and alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand performance and communicate effectively with publishers

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of prior experience in affiliate acquisition and affiliate marketing
  • Experience with tracking platforms (Tune, CAKE, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in implementing and optimizing affiliate marketing campaign
  • Strong prospecting skills – able to get creative in finding new opportunities and negotiate deals
  • Proven track record of building and fostering relationships with affiliates
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel

Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000 + commission - The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Fluent salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
