About the role

Concept Plus is seeking a Sr. Software Developer/Engineer/Programmer to be an integral part of the development team (e.g., integrated project team) designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems.

What you'll do

• Capture and refine information security requirements and ensure requirements are effectively integrated into IT products and information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration.
• Employ best practices when implementing security controls within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.
• Coordinate security-related activities with positions identified in the process including but not limited to Information Security Architects (ISA), Senior Information Security Officers (SISO), Information System Owners (ISO), Common Control Providers (CCP), Information System Security Managers (ISSM), and Information System Security Officers (ISSO).
• Support of the following systems:
• • Attain and maintain DoD IASAE L2 certification prior to gaining system access.
  • Code review is intended to find and fix mistakes and flaws that were overlooked in the initial development of client systems.
  • In addition, the code review is intended to check and validate the adherence of coding standards, the quality of the comments, and consistency of the overall design. This will directly improve the overall quality of the software.
  • Web-based application to check for end-of-life software and ensure record management of support agreements are in-place for major system software components.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• IASAE L2 certification (CASP, CISSP, CSSLP) required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ practical in full life cycle web-applications and software development (i.e. software programming/coding, software modification, database management & analysis) and tailored system sustainment.
• Minimum five (5) years’ practical software experience in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Cold Fusion language, Java Script, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Structured Query Language (SQL).
