The Databricks Solution Architects are passionate about unlocking our customers' full potential of data and AI. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We work hand-in-glove with our external Partners and our internal Partner Development Manager & Product Management counterparts to accomplish our goals. Our charter is to maximize the value our customers extract from Databricks. We achieve this by identifying and integrating with best-in-class partners, unlocking complementary capabilities that supercharge their data and AI journeys.

- Drive Partner Success: Collaborate with our partners to ensure their integrations are high-quality, high-performing, and deliver maximum value to our shared customers.
- Champion Innovation: Lead the way in identifying and developing new solutions that benefit both Databricks and our partners, unlocking new opportunities for growth.
- Empower Technical Excellence: Be the technical expert, guiding partners through the entire integration lifecycle, from initial design to ongoing value extraction and improved experiences.
- Amplify Our Message: Craft compelling stories and demonstrations that showcase the power of our partnerships, both internally and externally.
- Shape the Future: Use your insights and partner feedback to influence our product roadmap, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our partners and customers.
- Build Relationships: Become a trusted advisor to partners, helping them navigate the Databricks platform and build successful integrations, influencing their integration roadmap.
What We Look For:
- Data Expertise: Deep understanding of data warehousing, lakehouses, data collaboration, SQL, and the data intelligence platform.
- Technical Acumen: Strong foundation in enterprise architecture, data products, and programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and find elegant solutions.
- Collaboration: Experience working in partner-focused roles, building strong relationships, and driving collaborative success.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise in streaming technologies (Apache Spark™, Hadoop, Kafka)
- Openness to travel (domestic and international)
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $169,000—$299,000 USD
