As a Sr. Technical Sales Specialist, you will be part of our GROWTH Sales team, identifying new customers and maintaining relationships with current customers.   In this position you’ll leverage your deep knowledge of cable and connector systems to deliver high-performance solutions for applications — from advanced aerospace platforms to next-gen defense systems. This isn’t just sales — it’s strategic partnership, market leadership, and long-term impact.

Additional Responsibilities and Opportunities:

  • Produce strategic plans for target customers, incorporating customer details and objectives
  • Develop and grow relationships at target customers, performing cold calls when required
  • Pro-actively work with the internal execution team and the customer to successfully close opportunities
  • Acquire competitive intelligence through sales calls and industry knowledge
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical outside sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience / knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively apply a disciplined sales process
  • Familiarity with RF & ethernet cable technology, and / or avionics systems, and / or the Aerospace & Defense market
  • Ability to travel domestically at a minimum 50% of the time; limited international travel.
    • Residentially located near an airport is required.

PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company is headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  Given the nature of the role and required travel, this position can be located anywhere within the continental US.  Geographic proximity to an airport is required.
