About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, fast-moving Technical Writer to join our team for a 13-week period. This role is critical in scaling our customer experience operations by building, organizing, and optimizing product and service documentation across multiple channels. You’ll lead a documentation sprint to complete technical documentation for all products, overhaul our knowledge base design and structure, implement governance best practices, and deliver content for in-app Pendo guides and internal integration documentation.
What You Will Be Doing
- Draft, edit, and finalize technical documentation across our full product suite
- Translate complex workflows and functionality into clear, user-friendly content
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Audit, restructure, and redesign the knowledge base (look, feel, and format)
- Implement intuitive content categorization and tagging for scalability
- Collaborate with CX and Support to align content with ticket deflection and adoption goals
- Create and propose a scalable documentation governance plan
- Recommend workflows for review, updates, publishing, and ownership
- Advise on tooling or platform optimizations to support long-term content quality
- Write targeted, concise content for in-app guides and onboarding walkthroughs
- Collaborate with product and design to match tone, visuals, and ideal timing
- Align guide messaging with feature adoption, admin training, and workflow education
- Update and organize internal documentation such as integration guides and system workflows
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts with simplicity
- Energy and urgency to meet a critical 13-week delivery window, with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, prioritize effectively, and hit aggressive timelines
- Experienced with content management systems and knowledge base platforms, including Confluence, SharePoint, Pendo, and similar tools
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to drive projects from start to finish
- A sharp eye for user experience in documentation layout and structure
- Cross-functional collaboration skills to get the right answers from the right people quickly
- A mindset for scalability, thinking ahead so content stays usable and sustainable
