We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test/Systems Engineer to lead testing efforts for a U.S. Military Modeling and Simulation (M&S) project that supports continuous development, integration, and deployment. This position involves overseeing the creation and execution of complex test plans, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring system validation in distributed and cloud-enabled simulation environments. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of detailed test plans, cases, and automation scripts for M&S software and systems.
- Manage and coordinate system-level testing efforts across development sprints and program milestones.
- Define test strategies and standards in alignment with Agile and DevSecOps processes.
- Mentor junior testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity staff.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure test coverage of integration, performance, usability, and security requirements.
- Validate interoperability of distributed simulation components (e.g., HLA, DIS, IEEE 1516).
- Track and report on defects, test status, and risk assessments to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support RMF-related testing activities and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and V&V requirements.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in software/system testing, including test leadership in defense or M&S environments.
- Expertise in test planning, automated testing, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Selenium).
- Knowledge of simulation interoperability protocols such as HLA and DIS.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
