Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with deep UX thinking, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and mentors junior designers while driving design excellence.

Key Responsibilities User Experience & Research

  • Lead end-to-end UX design processes, from discovery and research to wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions
  • Translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences

User Interface & Visual Design

  • Create high-quality UI designs that align with brand guidelines and design systems
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and usability best practices are met

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders
  • Present design concepts clearly and persuasively to leadership and clients
  • Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback
  • Advocate for user-centered design across the organization

Execution & Delivery

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate design implementation
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, testing, and business needs
  • Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, problem-solving, and UI craft
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Solid understanding of UX research methods, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JS)
  • Experience with analytics tools and data-informed design
  • Background in SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or consumer-facing products
    Compensation, Benefits and Duration

    Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000
    Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000
    Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
    Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
    This position is available for independent contractors
