Looking for a Senior Web Developer with a strong background in DevOps and intricate knowledge of the HTTP stack. This team’s missions is to identify and improve site performance across many of the company's web properties.
Goals:
• Improve page performance focused on end user perf data (RUM data)
• Set standards for performance 0best practices and evangelize them with the development organization
• Develop release gating mechanisms based around performance metrics
Required Skills:
• Ruby/Ruby On Rails
• Javascript, JQuery, AngularJS • HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with server/client side debugging of web apps
• Experience building and using DevOps tools such as Docker, Consul
• Experience with SOA and micro-services
• Agile, Scrum, Kanban Bonus:
• Experience with WebPageTest, CatchPoint, Splunk
• Experience with Akamai tools
