What's the Opportunity?
Do you love puzzles, numbers, and that little sparkle you get when a spreadsheet finally balances? Do you thrive in cycles and rhythms - AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations - but also enjoy diving into projects that stretch your brain and build your skills? If yes, you may be our next Staff Accountant at Quantum Workplace.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Controller to support daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. You’ll also support month-end close and annual audit activities, and have opportunities to contribute to projects that improve how we work.
Your work will follow a steady rhythm, with room for project-based growth:
· Daily operations: Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, reconciliations, and payroll.
· Financial cycles: Partner with the Controller on monthly close, annual audit, and tax compliance.
· Projects and improvements: Use downtime between cycles to support cross-functional projects and identify process efficiencies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 5+ years of experience in AP/AR or accounting.
- Experience reconciling discrepancies and making sound recommendations.
- Strong technical skills with accounting tools, web-based software, and advanced Excel.
- NetSuite, Ramp, Paylocity, HubSpot, Zoom, or Slack experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working independently and in a remote environment.
