In this role, you’ll lead our Collages strategy. Collages are a unique form of self-expression & Pinners love using them for outfit planning, vision boarding, fandom & so much more - especially Gen Z. We’re looking for a creative, strategic leader who can take this fast-growing format to the next level. You’ll partner with teams across the company and drive innovation at the intersection of user experience, ML and GenAI. 


What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive Collages strategy, roadmap & goals in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design and other cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Build innovative new user experiences, unique to Pinterest, that drive Collage creation, distribution & engagement.
  • Leverage ML & AI to serve user needs, in close collaboration with Engineering and Data Science.
  • Define thoughtful hypotheses, product requirements, decision-making frameworks, metrics & goals for strategic projects.
  • Autonomously tackle complex, ambiguous problems & develop strategic influence across products.
  • Mentor and coach more junior PMs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Trusted collaborator: in this role, you’ll partner closely with a variety of teams across the company, including Growth, Trust & Safety, Monetization and more. You’ll need to build deep and trusted relationships with these teams and work together in service of key shared strategic priorities.
  • Strategic thinker: You’ll need to understand the landscape in which we’re operating and make frequent tradeoffs and decisions around where to invest time and resources.
  • Skilled communicator: You’ll communicate your strategy and plans to XFN partners, stakeholders & VP-level audiences, and need the ability to communicate clearly and convincingly with a wide range of audiences (both written and verbal).
  • Technical strength: You’ll partner closely with Engineering teams working with a wide variety of technologies, including Machine Learning and AI.
  • Customer centricity: You’ll work with both external and internal customers, and must deeply understand their needs and requirements.
  • Data fluency: You’ll need to leverage diverse quantitative & qualitative insights to make thoughtful, data-informed decisions.
  • A driver of results: Ultimately, you’ll need to produce significant, measurable results against key company goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. 
  • This role can be situated anywhere in the country and is expected to be in the office for key moments of collaboration (ie once a quarter or once a half).

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
