What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

In this role as Staff Product Manager for our Billing System and Core Services, you'll be at the helm of the largest group within the platform org, orchestrating billing systems tailored to diverse customers and navigating the complexities of user access for new sales channels. By stepping into the shoes of a Staff PM at Huntress, you'll be instrumental in steering the ship towards more streamlined billing processes that interact smoothly with our new routes to market. It's not just about maintaining the status quo; you have the thrilling prospect of fundamentally molding this position from the ground up, leaving your mark as we evolve our sales channels and billing platform.

We need a lead product manager to build out the features and capabilities that boost ARR and growth - including our billing systems, channel infrastructure, and shared services across our platform. You will ensure the platform is a core component of revenue growth. This position focuses on our backend Platform and is not an external customer-facing role. Your primary stakeholders will be the internal Finance, Revenue, and Business Operations teams, as well as other Product teams.

To be successful in this position, you must have experience architecting backend services and platforms, with other product teams as your primary stakeholders and customers. You must also have a proven track record of working closely with engineering teams and being able to articulate business goals clearly in technical terms.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers, engineers, and architects to create detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories that will be used to shape product specifications and architecture
  • Prioritize features by assessing their alignment with the broader product strategy and initiatives as well as unmet market needs
  • Serve as the intermediary between engineering and senior management and other non-technical stakeholders with the ability to break down and translate highly technical information into layman's terms and vice versa
  • Shape the product vision and roadmap for the billing platform, ensuring alignment with customer payment preferences and business needs. Analyze competitors to identify opportunities for system enhancements, and assess the integration potential of new financial technologies. Prioritize features that maximize user value and business impact
  • Engage with teams across the company to ensure billing platform initiatives are in sync with broader company goals. Collaborate with marketing and sales to devise unified strategies for launching new billing features. Foster agreement among product, engineering, and design teams to deliver integrated and seamless billing solutions
  • Lead the charge in developing innovative features for the billing system and put in place continuous improvement processes. Keep a keen eye on emerging billing trends to assess and integrate their applicability to our platform
  • Actively gather feedback on the billing platform's performance from various stakeholders and effectively communicate product updates, including changes to the roadmap. Facilitate workshops to understand stakeholder needs and constraints, and serve as the primary point of contact for all billing platform-related queries and concerns from internal teams

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Strong knowledge of billing systems, CRMs, Salesforce, and Stripe
  • Working knowledge of cloud services, microservices architecture, and backend systems
  • Leverage excellent written and verbal communication skills to create epics and stories for engineering that align engineers with intended outcomes
  • Experience with products delivered from Azure or other cloud environments
  • Prior experience as a software developer
  • Expertise in building billing systems from the ground up; designing billing platforms
  • Knowledge of financial technologies and their integration into billing systems
  • Proven record of successfully launching new billing features or systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects within billing or payment platforms
  • 7+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS company

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution
  • Life and Disability insurance plans
  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
  • $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
