What You’ll Do:
As a Security Engineer specializing in Threat Analysis, you’ll help protect CoreWeave’s innovative platform by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats. Your expertise will directly influence our security posture by staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Proactively identify and advocate for threat intelligence sources suitable for the business's profile
- Source, build, and maintain intelligence pipelines to help enhance our internal detection and response capabilities
- Develop and refine detection strategies and alerts based on current threat intelligence and vulnerability assessments
- Conduct detailed threat analysis to identify and respond to potential security risks proactively
- Champion automation for enriching the Detection and Response Team’s day-to-day operations and investigations with threat intelligence data, enabling deeper insights and information
- Collaborate closely with Incident Response, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to threat management
- Provide actionable and relevant intelligence to information security leadership and other internal stakeholders, enhancing the organization's proactive security capabilities
- Perform ongoing analysis of security incidents, identifying trends and developing strategies to enhance our defenses

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in threat analysis, cybersecurity intelligence, or related roles
- Strong understanding of threat modeling and intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience using and feeding intelligence information into a SIEM
- Experience building and maintaining threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with automation tooling, within a SIEM or security operations environment
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as GCTI, GCFA, CISSP, or similar credentials.
- Experience with cloud environments, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and associated security practices.
What We Offer
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000/year to $275,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
