  • Help automate manual workflows across WFM (reporting, trackers, alerts, data pulls).
  • Support recruiting and training planning by optimizing the hiring funnel, onboarding throughput, and ramp performance.
  • Assist with intraday and weekly workforce performance monitoring (volume vs staffing, SLA risk, schedule gaps).
  • Document processes and create repeatable reporting/automation playbooks.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry technologies and frameworks to identify trends to maintain best and cutting edge practices in AI.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in workforce analytics, WFM, operations, staffing analytics, or a related role.
  • 1-2 years of foundational experience in AI and automation tools (e.g., using ChatGPT responsibly for drafting, summarizing, and workflow support; building simple automations with scripts, macros, or no-code tools).
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
  • Comfort working with data and spotting patterns.
  • Experience building reports or dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar is a plus).
  • Curiosity and a mindset for automation (“there has to be a faster way”).
  • Can provide helpful insights from dense datasets
  • Creative self-starter capable of first principles thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills that can work across a highly cross-functional environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a B2B SaaS start-up preferred
  • Experience in healthcare is a bonus, as well as exposure to WFM concepts (forecasting, staffing, scheduling), familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, or training operations.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
