Applications will be accepted until 05/29/2026.

The Salesforce Strategic Events team is looking for a high-energy, detail-obsessed Associate Manager to help us deliver third-party event experiences that position Salesforce as a trusted partner. This role is uniquely balanced, requiring 60% focus on world-class event support and 40% on rigorous budget and purchasing management.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Events, you will own the day-to-day execution and planning of third-party event sponsorships while serving as the operational backbone for the team's financial workflows. We need a seasoned project manager who can juggle agencies, vendors, and budgets without breaking a sweat, ensuring every Salesforce presence is world-class.

Responsibilities

Event Support (60%)

  • Support the end-to-end planning and production of Salesforce’s presence at major third-party events, acting as the keeper of the master plan and managing timelines, staffing, and logistics.
  • Partner closely with cloud and industry teams to ensure a flawless attendee journey across all activations.
  • Deeply understand Salesforce’s "Agentic Enterprise" positioning to ensure the message shines through every booth and customer activation..
  • Master event mechanics, from high-volume meeting booking and registration to on-site staffing leadership.
  • Use Salesforce’s analytics tools to translate event data into insights that maximize ROI.

Budget and Operations Management (40%)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sponsorship contracts and Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all POs and contracts move through internal approval chains in a timely manner.
  • Submit and manage third party event POs and actively track team spending using our internal budgeting too to ensure the team remains on budget.
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Sourcing, and Legal teams to ensure all documentation is processed with precision and speed.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, expo/trade show operations, or project coordination.
  • You thrive in high-stakes, fast-paced and rapidly changing environments and treat "multitasking" as a competitive sport.
  • You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proven track record of supporting and leading complex projects across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • You don't just find issues; you find solutions. Your organizational skills are legendary.
  • You love a good dashboard. You understand that the best creative decisions are backed by solid data.
  • You have a "can-do" spirit, know when to lead, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves when the team needs it.
  • You’re willing to travel 25-30% of the time and ready to hit the ground running.
