About Drivepoint

Drivepoint is a fast-growing B2B AI & SaaS company that provides financial modeling and forecasting solutions for eCommerce and omnichannel brands. Our platform is the financial system of record for consumer brands looking to unlock profitable growth, improve capital access, and strengthen valuations.

We’re on a mission to help retail leaders achieve better outcomes, with a goal of powering 25% of global retail GMV by 2030. Built by seasoned strategic finance experts, Drivepoint is designed for clarity, speed, and insight, not complexity.

Leading eCommerce founders and CEOs use Drivepoint to analyze business performance, model future scenarios, and make critical decisions. With strong customer feedback, inbound momentum, and fresh Series A funding ($7M, July 2025), we’re scaling rapidly.

The Role

We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work directly with founders and C-level leaders at early-stage and high-growth consumer brands, using our platform to drive strategic financial decision-making.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that combines analytical horsepower with a consultative mindset. You’ll gain direct exposure to some of the most exciting consumer brands, tackle meaty business challenges, and help shape how companies budget, forecast, scenario-plan, and unlock value through smarter financial insights. You’ll also work on the leading edge of what’s possible with technology and AI in finance, as we continue to innovate and expand the capabilities of our platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and adapt client financial models using the Drivepoint platform
  • Support strategic decision-making through budgets, forecasts, and scenario analysis (e.g., impact of ad spend shifts, inventory reduction, cash runway planning)
  • Suggest improvements to financial models, data workflows, and client processes
  • Collaborate internally to enhance Drivepoint’s software, automation tools, and client services
  • Work closely with a senior member of the Drivepoint team

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or FP&A
  • Deep understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including model building from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining financial concepts clearly to clients
  • Curiosity about consumer businesses and a proactive, ownership mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Why Join Drivepoint

  • Work on the leading edge of what’s possible with technology and AI in finance
  • Join a venture-backed, fast-growing startup at an exciting inflection point
  • Work directly with founders and executives at high-growth consumer brands
  • Be part of a mission-driven team building a category-defining product
  • Remote-friendly, collaborative culture with room to grow
  • Competitive salary + benefits + meaningful equity opportunity

Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Drivepoint is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive environment for all employees.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
