As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will lead our expansion efforts within assigned verticals while driving the full growth engine—from initial partner acquisition (signups) to deep user activation (revenue). We’re looking for a results-oriented professional who will focus on achieving and exceeding these dual targets through proactive partner engagement, creative marketing initiatives, and relentless execution.

Hybrid in Seattle, WA — two in-office collaboration days weekly plus occasional client or conference travel.

What You'll Do

Acquisition & Activation Growth

  • Drive partner success goals through strategic planning, ensuring a healthy pipeline of both new signups and active, revenue-generating users.
Develop and implement targeted campaigns that not only capture new users but accelerate their path to the first transaction.
  • Create actionable plans to achieve measurable results against aggressive targets across both areas.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics with a focus on optimizing the conversion from signup to active user.
  • Identify and remove barriers to adoption, ensuring partners are not just "signed up" but are trained, integrated, and using the platform.

Partnership Management

  • Own the Growth: Go beyond maintenance—act as the strategic driver for your partners, relentlessly pushing for higher acquisition and activation.
    • Influence Decision Makers: Proactively secure buy-in from partner leadership to launch creative campaigns that drive results.
  • Turn Data into Action: Lead business reviews that focus on future growth opportunities, not just past status updates.
  • Leverage Industry Insights: Use your deep knowledge of the landscape to anticipate challenges and spot "blue ocean" opportunities.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Create, influence, and drive meaningful initiatives to exceed signup and revenue targets
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop effective marketing strategies
  • Identify and implement processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Demonstrate a strong bias for action and ability to execute quickly on growth opportunities
  • Leverage data and market insights to inform strategic decisions

Our job descriptions evolve with our business needs and priorities. In addition to the description above, your role may include additional tasks, projects and team support as needed.

Skills You Bring
  • Bachelors or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven track record of driving growth metrics and meeting/exceeding targets
  • Experience in partnership management in a B2B2C tech environment, preferably within proptech/real estate tech or supporting MLS organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption
  • Goal-oriented with exceptional drive and determination to achieve results
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and pushes projects forward independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a high-performance environment
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strategic thinking with ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with capability to manage multiple competing priorities

Qualities You Practice

These encompass our guiding principles and startup culture competencies:

  • Take full ownership and accountability: Drives projects from idea to execution, with pride, urgency, and a “do what it takes” mentality.
  • Collaborate with clarity, candor, and respect: Communicate openly and courageously, offer and receive feedback well, and build trust through transparency and reliable partnership.
  • Strive for excellence while staying humble: Driven with a bias for action, hold a high bar, think critically, and continuously look to improve.
  • Bring a versatile, proactive mindset: Adapt to evolving needs, anticipate challenges, take initiative, be resourceful, and embrace opportunities to achieve high quality results.
  • Innovate and learn fast: Experiment, learn from failure, and seek opportunities to introduce new methods or diverse ways of achieving results.
  • Engage in healthy debate and commit as a team: Contribute ideas, challenge constructively, and align quickly for decisive action.
  • AI is a core skill: Equip yourself to use AI in your daily workflow, boosting productivity, accelerating RentSpree’s growth, and building future-ready career skills in a world where AI literacy is essential.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
