About the Role

As the Strategic Pricing Manager, you will report to the CFO. You will play a critical role in developing pricing strategies, setting price targets, and defining pricing processes.  You will be involved in go-to-market planning for leading edge technology. You will be part of decision making at the highest levels of the organization.

You will bring a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of complex pricing models, and the ability to translate data into actionable pricing strategies. Your expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling will help shape our approach to monetization and packaging.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data-driven decision-making, understands the complexities of B2B SaaS pricing, and enjoys working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviors to inform pricing decisions.
  • Partner with Finance and technology functions to understand cost drivers and margins.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to understand competitive positioning, key differentiators, and value drivers.
  • Work with the Executive Team to develop a Pricing Strategy that supports company objectives.
  • Build and maintain models that generate pricing guidelines and guardrails by product, market, and use case.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to optimize discounting strategies and pricing incentives.
  • Design and coordinate A/B testing and elasticity analysis to assess the impact of pricing changes.
  • Track metrics and KPIs to measure pricing effectiveness and continuously iterate on targets and strategies.
  • Facilitate pricing decisions for new product launches, packaging updates, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay ahead of SaaS pricing trends and recommend innovative approaches to monetization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue operations, or product monetization in a B2B SaaS or technology startup.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience required; MBA highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing models, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of subscription, usage-based, and tiered pricing models in SaaS.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive pricing decisions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools, or pricing analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present pricing strategies to executives.
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Acceptable background check
