Are you a visionary strategist passionate about shaping the future of digital commerce? Amazon is seeking two strategic thinkers to architect the 3-Year eCommerce roadmap for a flagship initiative. This is a high-impact role where your insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior will directly influence the long-term direction of a Fortune 100 leader.

In this role, you will not just analyze the market—you will define it. You will partner with senior product and marketing leaders to identify new growth vectors and translate bold ideas into a concrete, data-driven strategic plan.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and develop the 3-Year eCommerce strategic roadmap, including key strategic goals and success metrics (KPIs).

  • Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable product and technology requirements for execution teams.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, product strategy, or eCommerce leadership.

  • A strong analytical and research background, with proven expertise in interpreting market data and digital commerce trends.

  • Direct experience with digital commerce, subscription services, or payments platforms.

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
