About the role

As a Strategy & Partnerships Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving Zillow’s most important partnerships and strategic initiatives. Your work will directly influence how we unlock new growth opportunities, build innovative partnership models, and deliver value to millions of people navigating their next chapter in real estate.

You Will Get To

  • Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities across the real estate ecosystem, developing new models beyond standard agreements.

  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle, from ideation and outreach to negotiation, contracting, and launch.

  • Shape and execute complex, differentiated deal structures that drive strategic value.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, operations, legal, finance, and sales teams to align resources and ensure successful partnership execution.

  • Build and maintain strong external relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for partners and driving joint go-to-market initiatives.

  • Pilot and scale innovative partnership models, adapting quickly based on learnings and market feedback.

  • Develop processes and frameworks to support the growth and evolution of Zillow’s partnership efforts.

  • Influence senior stakeholders by framing strategic rationale, opportunity sizing, and long-term business impact.

  • Assess the strategic rationale for partnership opportunities, including build/buy/partner analysis to determine when external collaboration is the right path.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $127,100.00 - $203,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $120,700.00 - $192,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related roles.

  • Proven success in negotiating and executing deals, including creative structuring and multi-party coordination.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage at both operational and executive levels.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building new frameworks and processes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of partner incentives and market dynamics.

  • Experience in real estate, proptech, or marketplace businesses is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business/strategy credentials preferred but not required.
