Risepoint assists primarily regional universities in increasing their access and impact by making their academic programs available to students online. The Student Engagement department resides within the Student Success Center organization.  Specialists conduct outreach to prospective students, answering questions about their educational journey in support of students’ educational goals. 

Job Summary 

The Student Engagement Specialist represents university partners and shares information about online Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees to potential students via phone, email, and SMS. Specialists contribute to projects and initiatives through specialized knowledge and skills. This role proactively engages prospective students in a goal oriented, metrics driven environment. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

Student Outreach: 

  • Execute recruitment measures, via the phone, email and SMS ensuring that targeted response timelines, compliance and quality guidelines are consistently met, to aid in enrolling students. 
  • Provide a high-touch experience for students, encouraging the pursuit of their educational goals while ensuring alignment with company objectives and values. 
  • Effectively utilize approved resources to ensure prompt and successful resolution of student concerns, demonstrating exceptional customer service. 
  • Leverages multiple technology platforms to effectively manage and support student and partner relationships. 
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with teammates and stakeholders as needed. 

Compliance and Governance:  

  • Ensure compliance with all required training and regulatory guidelines. 

Additional Position Responsibilities 

  •   Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies and Values. 
  •  Perform other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor’s or Commensurate Experience 
  • 2 + years of work experience in sales, customer service, teaching, healthcare.  Higher Ed or recruitment experience preferred. Or a minimum of 6-12 months as an Associate Student Engagement Specialist. 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities 

  • Customer Service -  Intermediate  Required 
  • Technical Savvy -  Intermediate Required 
  • Communication - Intermediate  Required
