Create an impact by shaping the world of education!

Amplify is seeking an energetic and results-oriented Sales Intern to join our team this summer and help us connect the educators, school districts, and families who can benefit most from our innovative educational products with the solutions that will transform their K–12 learning experience. This paid, remote 10-week internship offers the chance to make a real impact on products used by millions of students and teachers.

If you're comfortable with communication, persuasion, and consultative selling, and you're genuinely curious about how relationship-building drives customer success and long-term growth, this could be a perfect fit for you. The ideal candidates will love identifying opportunities, bring a collaborative, ask-questions-first energy to your work, and feel excited to help expand Amplify's reach and impact for K–12 learners.

Though remote, interns will join a 2-day in-person experience at Amplify HQ in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout the program, interns will engage with Amplify's culture via product demos, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives, plus grow through a virtual speaker series featuring Amplify executives, additional product demos, and dedicated mentorship.

While our summer intern roles are remote positions, interns must be authorized to work in the US, reside in the US for the internship's duration, and be available full-time for the entire program, June 7 – August 13, 2027.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Support the end-to-end sales process — from prospecting and lead generation through outreach, qualification, pipeline management, and deal progression — across Amplify's portfolio of educational products

  • Help identify new business opportunities, target accounts, and key decision-makers within school districts, charter networks, and educational institutions to expand Amplify's customer base

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product to align sales messaging, support go-to-market initiatives, and ensure a seamless customer journey from prospect to close

  • Assist with the preparation of sales presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and outreach cadences tailored to the specific needs and priorities of prospective customers

  • Contribute to CRM data management, pipeline reporting, account research, and sales enablement resources to support a high-performing and organized sales operation

  • Track sales activity metrics, pipeline health, and market trends to help the team identify patterns, prioritize opportunities, and refine outreach strategies

  • Participate in sales team meetings, product demonstrations, and customer-facing calls to build knowledge of Amplify's products, competitive positioning, and consultative sales approach

What we can offer you:
  • Direct exposure to sales tools, methodologies, and best practices used in EdTech

  • Real-world sales challenges that directly influence Amplify's growth and mission impact

  • Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product teams across the organization

  • Contributions to meaningful business development and revenue growth initiatives in a mission-driven environment

  • Mentorship from industry professionals at the forefront of EdTech sales and go-to-market strategy

  • Exposure to Inside Sales, Enterprise Sales, Sales Operations, Account Management, Sales Enablement, and Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Opportunities to help shape the outreach strategies, customer relationships, and revenue growth that fuel Amplify's ability to serve K–12 learners at scale

Basic Qualifications for this Amplify Internship:
  • Education: Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, returning to school in Fall 2027

  • Full-time availability to participate from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to synthesize information, identify themes, and communicate insights clearly

  • Knowledge of and interest in the K–12 education technology field

Preferred Qualifications for Sales Interns:
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools for managing pipelines, tracking activity, and reporting on sales performance

  • Exposure to sales methodologies such as consultative selling, solution selling, SPIN selling, or challenger sales through coursework, extracurricular activities, or prior experience

  • Background in sales, business development, account management, fundraising, or customer-facing roles through coursework, campus organizations, or prior internships

  • Interest in EdTech market dynamics, K–12 procurement processes, district sales cycles, go-to-market strategy, or revenue operations

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders across all levels of an organization

  • Comfort with sales engagement and prospecting tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo; grounding in data-driven sales reporting is a plus

  • Understanding of consultative sales principles, customer needs assessment, objection handling, and value-based selling as applied to a mission-driven EdTech environment

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
