JOB OVERVIEW:
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Product Management (Upstream Marketing) team through a variety of projects and assignments. Responsibilities will align with the intern’s academic background and learning objectives while also supporting departmental priorities.
Assignments may include conducting research, supporting product management initiatives, and assisting with cross-functional projects. Whenever possible, a balance will be maintained between the intern’s educational goals and the business needs of the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.
Works with the department prioritizing work assignments and act as a liaison with other departments.
Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.
Assist in the development of:
- Portfolio pipeline/roadmap and opportunity pipeline (funnel)
- Marketing plans
- Product specific targeting and positioning strategiesWith oversight, execute on Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) strategies for product categories within the business.
Assist in developing pricing for responsible areas and products aligned with marketing strategy and brand positioning.
Operates, under supervision, within New Product Development (NPD) process and understands the impact it has on the business. Collaborates cross-functionally with key internal and external stakeholders to participate in NPD process.
Under supervision, assist with all packaging design and labeling for assigned product(s), ensuring conformance to all regulatory standards for both domestic and international markets.
Assist in development of new marketing channels and tools.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
The preferred candidate is at least a third-year college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.
Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.
Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.
Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
