Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Global Supplier Diversity Organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Redondo Beach, California or Melbourne, Florida.

The selected candidate supports and contributes to the Senior Manager of Global Supplier Diversity, SBLO and Government Relations. Will support the day-to-day operations and provide guidance to 7-10 Small Business Liaison Officers in Redondo Beach for supporting all AS programs or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to their team based on goals, objectives and company policy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of progressive experience in subcontracts, procurement, supply chain, proposals or contracts or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of progressive experience in subcontracts, procurement, contracts, legal

  • Must have experience with government contracting, FAR and DFARS

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Strong outstanding written and verbal communication

  • Strong Leadership Skills

  • Strong Teambuilding experience

  • Prior experience in supplier diversity

Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position. Specific salary offer for candidate selected will be commensurate with experience.

 

 

 

Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $188,300.00

 

 

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

 

 

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date. However, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
