We’re searching for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team and play a key role in driving our vision forward. 

What You’ll Do: 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be at the heart of our quality assurance efforts, providing critical support in customer engagement, product and process performance monitoring, corrective action implementation, development of processes and procedures, resolution of customer complaints, supplier engagement, auditing, and other quality-related tasks. You’ll: 

  • Facilitate customer meetings and resolve customer issues. 

  • Lead customer audits and address audit findings. 

  • Develop and monitor quality metrics, creating action plans to improve performance. 

  • Update existing quality processes and procedures, and develop new ones. 

  • Ensure Quality Management System processes comply with AS9100 Rev D standards. 

  • Create and implement Quality Inspection Instructions for various products. 

  • Conduct internal and supplier audits. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive corrective actions. 

  • Assist the Supplier Quality team in evaluating and qualifying new suppliers, and in continuous improvement activities for existing suppliers. 

  • Investigate customer non-conformance reports using the 8D problem-solving methodology and coordinate failure analysis with Engineering. 

  • Visit customers and suppliers to investigate non-conformance issues. 

  • Prepare and monitor monthly quality performance reports. 

  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to visit customers and suppliers. 

What You’ll Bring to the Team: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred. 5+ years’ experience in Quality in lieu of degree. 

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related field and experience in an AS9100 environment required. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with AutoCAD; SmarTeam, Smartsheet, Syteline is preferred. 

  • Working knowledge of Supplier Quality Systems and processes. 

  • Expertise in structured Root Cause/Countermeasure Problem Solving methodologies (such as 8D, A3, or others). 

  • Practical knowledge and leadership experience in lean management system preferred. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft procedures and lead customer calls. 

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documents. 

  • Capable of leading cross-functional teams and effectively training others. 

  • Process-oriented, analytical, and detail-focused. 

  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
