Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Functional Excellence is looking for a Lean Practitioner to support Supply Chain teams in Everett, Washington on 1st Shift.
As a Lean Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the Supply Chain organization, both factory and non-factory environment. You will be responsible for Lean initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey.

Level 4 - 14 years of combined relevant experience including education
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Shift (outside of 1st shift):
This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

- Facilitate Lean activities and initiatives across various programs & functions
- Apply applicable Lean tools (e.g. Problem solving, Kaizen workshops, 3p, Value Steam mapping, Process mapping, 5s) and process analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, facilitate cross-team best-practice sharing, and promote replication of successful process improvements across the organization.
- Utilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives
- Mentor and coach stakeholders in Lean principles and practices
- Prepare and present reports on progress and outcomes to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Level 4 - 14 years of combined relevant experience including education
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 10+ years of experience using Lean Principles and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace (e.g. Problem solving, Kaizen workshops, 3p, Value Steam mapping, Process mapping, 5s)
- 10+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
- 10+ years of experience with coaching and facilitating training
- Willing and able to travel domestically, potential international travel - confirm with hiring manager
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Post-secondary education (Associate's Degree minimum)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- 10+ years of experience implementing Lean principles
- 5+ years of experience teaching Lean tools and concepts
- 5+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model
- Experience in Supply Chain/Boeing Production System (BPS) in an office environment
