Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Linux systems and AWS resources to ensure optimal performance and security
• Deploy applications using Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Develop Ansible playbooks to streamline deployments across Linux environments
• Manage AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, S3, Kubernetes) with focus on scaling and container orchestration
• Integrate with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automate monitoring, upgrades, and security patches
• Troubleshoot Linux, Kubernetes, and container issues while documenting processes and collaborating within Scrum teams

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least three years of experience managing Linux platforms in private cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments

Skills and Qualifications:

• Skilled in Linux systems, microservices deployment, and container orchestration in cloud environments
• Proficient in Ansible and YAML for automation, with experience creating advanced playbooks and roles
• Experienced in managing Kubernetes clusters, networking, ingress controllers, and storage on Linux
• Strong scripting background using Python, Perl, or BASH for automation and troubleshooting
• Effective communicator with strong documentation and collaboration skills in Agile environments
• Familiar with ITIL/Lean principles; certifications like LPIC, RHCSA, or Ansible are a plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
