Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure and Azure Management (30%)
  • Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM templates and Bicep
  • Implement Azure Well-Architected Framework principles for reliability, security, cost optimization, and performance
  • Monitor and optimize Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, and networking components
  • Implement Azure governance policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Support Azure DevOps pipelines and automation for infrastructure deployment
  • Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization through monitoring and rightsizing
  • Set up and manage infrastructure for Large Language Model (LLM) deployments and AI workloads
  • Administer Microsoft Fabric environments including workspace management and capacity allocation
User Support and Help Desk (25%)
  • Provide technical support for Windows 11 systems and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for engineering teams
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Support conference room technology and collaboration tools
  • Create and maintain Copilot chatbots to provide automated user support
  • Monitor and optimize chatbot performance to improve user experience
Network Infrastructure Management (15%)
  • Deploy and configure enterprise network equipment including switches, routers, and wireless access points
  • Ensure high availability for mission-critical connections
  • Perform network upgrades and maintenance during scheduled windows
  • Install and configure network cabling and connectivity infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues across office locations
  • Maintain network documentation and infrastructure organization
  • Coordinate with Internet service providers for connectivity issues
Security Operations (15%)
  • Implement and maintain security protocols for network infrastructure
  • Manage endpoint security using Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and threat detection
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management
  • Ensure system security compliance for business data protection using Microsoft security stack
  • Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Configure and manage Intune policies for mobile device management and application protection
  • Monitor Microsoft Defender security alerts and respond to threats across the environment
  • Maintain physical security systems and access controls
Training, Infrastructure Planning and Documentation (15%)
  • Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades and improvements
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology and systems
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures
  • Participate in capacity planning and technology refresh cycles
  • Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Pursue ongoing training and certifications to stay current with Microsoft technologies and industry best practices
Technical Requirements
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Azure deployment, management, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates/Bicep)
  • Microsoft Fabric: Knowledge of workspace management, data pipelines, and analytics workload administration
  • Network Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment and managed systems
  • Security Systems: Experience with Microsoft security stack including Intune, Defender, and Purview
  • Windows Environment: Strong knowledge of Windows 11 OS and Microsoft 365 administration
  • AI/LLM Infrastructure: Understanding of infrastructure requirements for Large Language Model deployments
  • Automation: Experience with chatbot development and automated support systems
  • Troubleshooting: Excellent diagnostic skills for hardware, software, network, and cloud infrastructure issues
  • Documentation: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and procedures

  • Microsoft Fabric Administration: Managing workspace environments, data pipelines, and analytics workloads while optimizing compute resources and implementing governance policies
  • LLM and AI Infrastructure: Setting up and maintaining infrastructure for Large Language Model deployments and AI workloads on Azure platform
  • Automated User Support: Creating and maintaining Copilot chatbots for help desk automation while providing technical support for Windows systems and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Enterprise Network Operations: Deploying network equipment, managing connectivity across office locations, and ensuring high availability for mission-critical business systems
  • Microsoft Security Stack Implementation: Managing endpoint security with Microsoft Intune, threat detection with Microsoft Defender, and data security with Microsoft Purview across globally distributed teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 1-3 years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or infrastructure operations
  • Experience with enterprise networking equipment and security systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with mission-critical systems and understanding of business impact
