Salesforce Inc. seeks Systems Engineering Lead in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to monitor and ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures. Collaborate hand in hand with Salesforce.com Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in protecting company and customer data from adversaries. Execute Security Monitoring processes and procedures to ensure the efficacy of the Security Monitoring service. Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures. Create constant improvement of security monitoring capabilities to ensure efficacy of service to internal and external customers.
Formulate “out of the box” solutions to slice, dice, and present customer information so that it can be actioned. Develop computer information security policies, procedures, security standards and/or awareness, and best practices to safeguard and protect data for team members and users. ˆAbove address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Splunk; (2) HBase; (3) MySQL; (4) Kafka; (5) AWS; (6) Kubernetes; (7) Okta; (8) SOQL; (9) Spinnaker; and (10) Hive. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $167,300.00 - $253,000.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $253,000.
