Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Operator to join our team in Seattle, WA.
Primary responsibility will be to conduct initial and follow-on production flights and customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured 737 airplanes in Seattle. Successful candidates can expect travel and flights domestically and internationally in support of the production system as well as post-production activity via CFR 91 & 125.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs systems checks on the ground and in-flight for production acceptance
  • Supports flights to include: functional test flights, Customer Demonstration flights, Production acceptance flights, etc.
  • Researches and confirms airplane configuration and status
  • Prepares and maintains aircraft flight test procedures
  • Demonstrates to the customer that aircraft meets production standards prior to delivery
  • Performs duties as a flight crew member

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • Experience with aviation or aviation related activities
  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one
  • 1+ years of experience in aircraft systems integration and operations
  • Capable of travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to work variable shifts including day, evening, nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • FAA or military Flight Engineer
  • Previous flight engineer or systems operator experience
  • 1+ years of Aircrew experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • AMT Airframe and Power plant license
  • FAA Commercial Pilot license
  • Flight Test Experience
  • Boeing commercial airplane experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $111,350 - $160,000
