Why We Need You:
PEMCO is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to join our community. The Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent for our organization. This position combines full cycle recruiting responsibilities with talent management initiatives and administrative support for the HR team and HR Director.

What You’ll Be Doing:


Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and offer coordination.
  • Hold initial (kick-off) meetings with hiring managers to discuss and agree on role expectations and candidate selection criteria.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews; share information with hiring managers on structured interviewing and best practices. Collect and compile interviewer (individual and/or panel) feedback on each candidate.
  • Manage candidate communications and feedback loops to minimize drop-off and maintain engagement.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, campus recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system accuracy and ensure timely updates to candidates and HR.


Talent Management

  • Support initiatives such as EVP development, succession planning, critical role assessments, and organizational health reviews.
  • Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth new-hire experience.


HR Team & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for the HR team and the HR Director, including scheduling, calendar management, reporting, and document management.
  • Assist with HR record-keeping and partner with HRIS for reporting standardization efforts as needed.
  • Support rhythm-of-business activities.

General

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company policies, values, and code of ethics.
  • Actively support the company brand and mission, always seeking opportunities to attract top talent.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree (Business, Human Resources, or related field) or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of corporate HR experience, including Talent Acquisition, required.
  • Professional SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Experienced in full-cycle recruiting across job families (e.g., sales, ops, technical).
  • Knowledge of sourcing methods.
  • Structured interviewing and talent assessment literacy.
  • Offer management and closing strategies experience.
  • Talent pipeline management with proactive talent pooling and re-engagement strategies is preferred.
  • Communicator: The ability to communicate clearly and informatively verbally and in writing with colleagues, customers, and the community in both technical and non-technical professional language is required.
  • Confidentiality: A high degree of integrity and the ability to exercise discretion in confidential situations are required.
  • Precision: Is detail-oriented and has a strong desire for accuracy and thoroughness is required
  • Organized: Has excellent time management skills and easily manages multiple tasks, activities, and projects is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills & Empathy: Builds relationships internally and externally and gets results. through influence rather than authority.
  • MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Compliance: Knowledge and understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

Compensation:
The pay range for this role is shown below. Compensation decisions are determined based on an individual’s qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
•    Greater Seattle area target pay range: $105,762-129,264. The full pay range is $88,135-$146,891
•    Outside Greater Seattle area target pay range: $93,337-$114,079. The full pay range is $77,781-$129,634.
Greater Seattle Area is defined as working within approximately 100 miles of Seattle. Outside Greater Seattle is defined as working approximately 100 miles or more from Seattle.

Benefits:
Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental, and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous employer premium cost shares. In addition, as a benefits-eligible employee, you are:

  • covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit coverages.
  • eligible to participate in PEMCO’s 401(k) plan, which includes a generous employer match (2 for 1 on the first 6% employee pre-tax and/or Roth deferral, up to federal maximums). 

PEMCO provides a variety of time off programs including:

  • Vacation and eight (8) paid holidays. 
  • Granted four (4) floating holidays and up to ten (10) days of sick leave immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time status).
  • In addition, PEMCO provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and employee volunteering in the community.

Other miscellaneous benefit programs offered by PEMCO include:

  • Education Assistance Program after one year of service.
  • Scholarship program for children of PEMCO employees after one year of service; children’s birthday gift program

  • Other compensation, depending on role, contributions, and performance, may include:

  • Tiered sales commissions and/or incentives
