About Us:
Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands, dedicated to blending mental wellness, inclusivity, and elevated comfort into every piece we create. Our mission goes beyond clothing — we strive to build a community where everyone feels supported and seen.

About the Job:
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to own recruiting across our Product Development organization and adjacent functions including Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Operations. This is a high-impact, full-cycle recruiting role at a brand that's scaling fast — you'll be filling critical roles while also helping shape how we hire at Comfrt for the long term.

This role is for someone who moves quickly, earns trust with hiring managers, and knows how to find great product and apparel talent in a competitive market. You'll be an embedded partner to PD leadership, not just a recruiter filling requisitions — you'll help them think through what great looks like, who's out there, and how to close the people they want.

Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for Product Development and adjacent functions — from intake through offer
  • Source proactively to build strong pipelines for current and future roles across passive and active candidate pools
  • Move quickly without sacrificing quality — we have open roles now and need someone who hits the ground running
  • Manage candidate experience from first touchpoint through close, ensuring every interaction reflects the Comfrt brand

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with PD leadership — become their go-to thought partner on talent, not just a recruiter filling reqs
  • Lead intake conversations that get to the heart of what the role actually needs
  • Bring market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive dynamics
  • Push back when needed and come with a point of view

Process & Operations

  • Keep pipelines clean and data accurate in our ATS
  • Help build out recruiting process and tooling as we scale — there's real runway to shape how this function operates
  • Partner with HR and People Ops to ensure a seamless handoff from offer through onboarding

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to apparel, fashion, and consumer goods
  • Proven ability to recruit for product development, design, or technical apparel roles
  • Strong sourcer who knows how to find people who aren't looking and compel them to engage
  • A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly with both candidates and hiring managers
  • Comfortable in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where process is still being built — you help create the structure, not wait for it
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable
  • Clear, direct communicator who can represent the Comfrt brand with authenticity

Why Join Comfrt?

  • Be part of a purpose-driven company shaping the future of comfort and mental wellness
  • Work in a supportive, creative environment where your ideas and growth are valued
  • Generous PTO, company-covered health insurance, 5% 401k match, and discounts on all Comfrt products
  • Fully remote with a passionate team making an impact on exciting work

Comfrt is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
