JOB DESCRIPTION
UL Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to support our sales hiring strategy . This role is instrumental in building strong talent pipelines for sales positions through strategic sourcing, market research, and relationship-building. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for identifying top sales talent, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality sourcing outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role is based in Northbrook, IL, with an expectation of being onsite three days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Advisors to develop and execute sourcing strategies for sales-related positions.
  • Participate in search strategy meetings to understand hiring needs and continuously refine sourcing approaches.
  • Build and manage pipelines of both active and passive candidates, conducting initial profile assessments to ensure alignment with hiring requirements.
  • Leverage a variety of sourcing channels (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry events) to identify, engage, and nurture top talent.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Oracle HCM).
  • Conduct thorough market mapping and competitive research to identify target companies and candidate pools.
  • Stay current on sourcing tools, trends, and technologies to ensure best-in-class sourcing practices.
  • Support the creation of job requisitions and postings in collaboration with the TA team.
  • Provide periodic reports on sourcing activity and pipeline development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support broader recruitment initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in sourcing or talent acquisition, with a strong focus on sales roles.
  • Proven experience using sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, talent CRMs, and job boards.
  • Strong understanding of passive sourcing techniques (e.g., AIRS-certified or equivalent knowledge).
  • Experience working with ATS platforms such as Oracle, Workday, SAP, or Taleo.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a complex, global business environment.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $62,700 to $83,600 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
