Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to the company’s recruiting functions. The role is primarily responsible, under general supervision, for IT job postings, administrative recruiting support, recruiting related inquiries from internal employees, sourcing, recruiting, and screening applicants for a variety of positions within the technology space. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships as delegated by the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, by assisting in the identification of the talent necessary to make the company successful while ensuring positive candidate experiences.
Compensation
This role is a non-exempt position with a targeted salary range of $36.06/hour to $38.46/hour.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
- Consult with hiring managers to define candidate qualifications and reference preidentified criteria for successful talent identification.
- Maintain strong cross departmental relationships as facilitated by direct Supervisor; act as a liaison with hiring managers and active/passive candidates to streamline the hiring process.
- Implement and monitor sourcing strategies, ensuring resources are devoted to the most effective sourcing methods.
- Administer the recruiting process, including posting positions (internal/external). screening candidates, interviewing, extending offers, managing relevant paperwork, etc.
- Evaluate candidates through resume and phone screenings to present a highly qualified candidate pool to hiring managers.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to develop and understand technical assessments to evaluate candidates’ skill level.
- Submit job postings for review and audit existing published job postings in the electronic recruiting module to remove expired and/or filled postings when appropriate.
- Support Talent Acquisition department by maintaining existing relationships or assisting in identifying new relationships with colleges and universities to develop a pipeline of new talent.
- Staying up to date on technology trends to understand evolving needs in the tech industry, to help anticipate hiring needs and sourcing relevant talent.
- Drive, maintain and meet individual recruiting metrics defined by Supervisor.
- Adhere to delegated tasks or projects that drive results for recruiting function.
- Use a variety of best recruiting practices to develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Supervisor to develop and implement recruiting strategies designed to increase candidate pool and focus on strategies that are most effective.
- Make recommendations to improve the overall recruitment process.
- Communicate company values, culture, and benefits to candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment practices.
- Ensure proper data entry and information integrity within the applicant tracking system.
- Attend job fairs and career events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required; Associates Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum three years experience of corporate or agency recruitment experience, specifically filling IT/technology-related positions. Minimum four years experience, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
- Significant relationship building experience and a capacity to build and maintain professional alliances. Must be able to maintain a strong network of potential candidates though proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation and highly organized.
- Flexible to adapt to changing hiring needs and priorities and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation.
- Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
- Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
- Travel 5-10%
- Ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
- Must be able to adhere to process protocol. Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
