Summary

The Tax Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining tax profile data for OSV customers. The role is responsible for processing tax profile updates with a high level of accuracy into multiple systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for tax profile and basic tax inquiries while providing outstanding tax service to OSV customers.
  • Responsible for managing cases for assigned customer team(s) to provide professional and timely responses.
  • Maintain customer tax profile by updating internal systems, including but not limited to unemployment tax rates, account status, account numbers, etc.
  • Support and manage proactive customer cases regarding data and/or configuration anomalies that can impact payments and filings.
  • Review and analyze employee and employer-level payroll tax data on behalf of customers.
  • Meet strict deadlines for monthly, quarterly, ad hoc reports, and data inquiries to support business needs.
  • Meet quality and production metrics outlined for the position.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure delivery of high-quality services and products.
  • Work closely with the tax services department and other internal teams to deliver excellent customer service related to the entire payroll tax process.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirement

Associate's degree

Required

  • Payroll Tax experience.
  • Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge and background of multistate tax jurisdiction.

Preferred

  • Payroll Tax outsourcing experience.
