Technical Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable technical solutions that align with our strategic business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural principles.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and develop complex technical solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Systems Design: Create detailed system designs, including data models, APIs, and infrastructure components.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in relevant technologies, including [specific technologies, e.g., Java, Python, .NET, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)].
  • Architectural Expertise: Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire teams, drive technical decisions, and influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
  • DevOps Experience: Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Open-Source Contributions: Active participation in open-source communities.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 56,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 196,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
