Salesforce Inc. seeks Technical Architect in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Reviews/approves design decisions. Communicates design options to clients. Ensures that the functional and technical analysis done to create the technical design is sufficient to cover the project scope and is technically complete. Guides and approves designs of the team through the build process. Reviews and approves the Solution Architecture, ensuring that custom development is necessary. Assists in coding and reviews code. Manages technical debt, seeking to minimize it within the constraints and expectations of the project. Evaluates risks and suggests mitigation options. Forms relationships with primary technical client resource to ensure that they understand and support the technical solution approach. Presents a technical approach to clients as necessary over the course of the project. Provides level-of- effort estimates for technical solutions. Identify and act upon opportunities to share and disseminate learnings across teams and departments, where doing so would be beneficial. Provides constructive feedback to team members. Recognizes and utilizes the strengths of their projects’ resources. Champions organizational initiatives and is a positive change agent. Determines the best way to contribute to company growth and pursue with a passion. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Requirements Analysis; (2) Software Project Management; (3) SDLC; (4) Solution Architecture; (5) Agile development methodology; (6) Web Services; (7) Java; (8) Spring; (9) XML; (10) SQL; (11) Unix; (12) Oracle; (13) Javascript; (14) Apex; and (15) Visualforce. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Salary: $168,397.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.
