SUMMARY

We're looking for a Technical Curriculum Developer to join the Product team and spread the power of Wiz. In this role, you'll design and develop training content for our cloud security platform. You'll translate complex cloud security concepts into engaging learning experiences. If you're passionate about education, have a knack for explaining technical concepts clearly, and are excited to continuously learn about emerging cloud security technologies, your place is with us!


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create and maintain technical course materials, hands-on labs, and other educational content aligned with Wiz's platform and services
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Technical Writers, and Customer Success to ensure technical accuracy and instructional effectiveness
  • Design learning paths that address the needs of different audiences and skill levels
  • Develop demo environments and scenarios that showcase Wiz's capabilities in realistic contexts
  • Support technical trainers through detailed guides and facilitating Train-the-Trainer sessions
  • Collaborate with the broader Product team to stay current on new features and product updates
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our training methodology and tools

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in technical curriculum development, instructional design, technical training delivery, or other similar roles teaching technical material to adults
  • Experience with learning experience development tools such as PowerPoint/Google Slides, Camtasia (or similar video editing tools), VS Code, Markdown, ElevenLabs (or similar text-to-speech tools)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security concepts
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts and translate them into learner-friendly content
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal) with a detail-oriented mindset that makes your content both precise and accessible
  • A curious mindset and eagerness to continuously learn about emerging technologies
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with DevOps practices, CI/CD systems, and modern software development workflows
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry or with security products
  • Familiarity with cloud security domains (CSPM, CNAPP, vulnerability management, threat detection)
  • Knowledge of IaC tools (e.g. Terraform) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Experience working in a docs-as-code environment
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (e.g. Skilljar)
  • Previous experience in fast-growing SaaS companies

Compensation 

Starting compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's job-related experience, skills and geographic location. Your Talent Partner can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. 

This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation. 

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. 

US Base Pay Range
$114,000$156,000 USD
