The Technical Developer (HubSpot & Integrations) is the hands-on-keyboard builder responsible for executing the Solution Architect’s vision. This role acts as the team’s HubSpot and integrations coding expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Translates design into code - Translates architectural designs from the Solutions Architect into functional, production-grade code.
- HubSpot building and maintenance - Builds and maintains custom HubSpot-coded actions
- API authority - Develops, tests, and manages complex, bi-directional API integrations between HubSpot and client systems.
- Data savant - Handles complex data mapping, transformation, and migration for large-scale projects.
- Implementation owner - Work in an agile way with the Solutions Architect; raise flags, debug complex issues, and own the code-level implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-6+ years of experience in a developer, integration specialist, or technical consultant role.
- Server-Side Proficiency: Strong proficiency in a server-side language, with a heavy preference for Node.js (for in-platform HubSpot custom actions) or Python.
- API Mastery: Demonstrable, hands-on experience with the HubSpot APIs (or similar, complex REST/GraphQL APIs like Salesforce's) and a fast-learning mentality.
- Integration Track Record: Proven experience building and maintaining custom API integrations (e.g., connecting a CRM to a product database, ERP, or other SaaS tools).
- Builder's Portfolio: A strong portfolio of projects (e.g., GitHub, personal website) showcasing your problem-solving skills and ability to build and ship code.
- Data-Handling Skills: Experience with data mapping, JSON, and data transformation (a core part of all integration work).
- Front-End Proficiency: Experience (React) with building custom UI components (e.g., custom CRM cards).

- Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0)
- Experience with HubSpot Marketplace app development
