ABOUT US:

Brisk Teaching is the leading AI platform for K-12 educators, empowering teachers to deliver personalized, curriculum-aligned instruction at scale. Our Classroom Intelligence tools connect teachers, students, and curriculum—making meaningful learning happen in classrooms every day. We believe the best technology is cutting-edge, respects teachers’ time, integrates into real classrooms, and helps educators focus on what matters most.

Since launching, Brisk has experienced rapid growth. Over 2 million teachers use our platform, and we partner with districts and schools nationwide to transform how educators teach and how students learn.

We're backed by leading venture and edtech investors including Bessemer Venture Partners (Shopify, LinkedIn, Anthropic, Perplexity) and Owl Ventures (Newsela, Quizlet, MasterClass), with a team spanning top AI companies and real classroom experience.

We're a fast-moving, collaborative team driven by a shared commitment to educator impact and product excellence. Our values—urgency, ownership, and focus—shape how we build and who we are.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Implementation Specialist to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will be the engine behind successful implementations for our district partners. You will manage concurrent implementation timelines, work directly with district curriculum and IT stakeholders, and execute the end-to-end intake and delivery process that turns a signed deal into a live Brisk environment.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of project management, data quality, and customer collaboration — and who is energized by solving problems and shipping on tight timelines.

We are looking for someone who can work at least 20 hours per week during Back-To-School season (May 15 - October 31, 2026) and who can work in the PST time zone.

YOU WILL:
  • End-to-End Implementation: Own the technical setup process for district partners — from initial rostering configuration through data validation and successful launch — ensuring teachers and school leaders can seamlessly access Brisk.

  • Data Integration & Rostering: Work with district IT teams to configure and troubleshoot SIS integrations via third-party rostering providers, ensuring student and staff data flows accurately into the platform.

  • Data Quality: Review, clean, and validate rostering data from districts to ensure it matches the formatting and structural requirements needed for a smooth end-user experience.

  • District IT Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for district IT stakeholders during implementation — investigating and resolving data issues, answering questions, and guiding them through each step of the process.

  • Project Management: Independently manage a high volume of concurrent implementations on tight timelines, with particular intensity during the spring and summer months as districts prepare for the new school year.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain excellent documentation and proactively update project status for internal team members across multiple implementation projects, elevating risks and proposing solutions.

  • Quality Assurance: Execute strong QA processes to verify that rostering data and platform configurations are correct before teacher-facing rollout begins.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and the customer support team — sharing progress, coordinating handoffs, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from sale through launch.

YOU HAVE:
  • At least 1 year of experience working with K-12 SIS integrations (API, SFTP, plug-ins, or similar).

  • Proven experience in data cleaning, validation, and quality checking.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high volume of projects on tight deadlines with a high level of organization and accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide district IT teams through technical processes clearly and patiently.

  • High empathy and emotional intelligence when working with busy district IT administrators and school leaders.

  • Experience in edtech or working on products for educators and students.

  • Ability to learn new technology and products quickly.

  • A self-starter mindset — you see gaps and fill them without waiting to be asked.

  • A passion for improving education and making a positive impact in the lives of teachers and students.

BONUS:
  • Experience working with Ednition, Clever, ClassLink.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Salesforce, Google Sheets/Excel, Notion, or Zendesk.

  • Background working in or alongside K-12 district IT departments.

  • Experience supporting back-to-school or seasonal implementation surges.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
  • This role will be especially high-volume during the spring and summer months as districts prepare for back-to-school launches.

  • Some flexibility in scheduling may be required during peak implementation windows.

Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
