Job Overview:
Arm is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Verification & Validation to support front-end verification and pre-silicon validation execution across SoC development programs. This role is program management-focused, emphasizing planning support, tracking, coordination, reporting, and follow-through, and is well suited for a TPM developing depth in complex SoC environments.
The Technical Program Manager works closely with worldwide Verification & Validation engineering leadership, SoC TPMs, and cross-functional partners to help maintain execution visibility and alignment across programs. The role acts as a day-to-day execution and organization partner, ensuring verification and validation activities are well tracked, issues are surfaced early, and information flows clearly to leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Support design verification and pre-silicon validation execution across multiple SoC programs through strong program management fundamentals
  • Assist worldwide VnV leadership by providing organized execution visibility, consolidated status, and risk tracking across programs
  • Maintain and update verification and validation schedules, trackers, and dashboards, using tools such as Microsoft Project and shared tracking systems
  • Track verification and validation deliverables, achievements, dependencies, and resource commitments, raising issues as needed
  • Coordinate with VnV functional teams to ensure agreed verification and validation flows are followed
  • Support pre-silicon validation activities, including:
  • Tracking availability and readiness of emulation and FPGA platforms
  • Coordinating generation and availability of models used for software, performance, and power validation
  • Collect, organize, and report verification and validation metrics, and help validate that execution data is accurate, consistent, and reflects actual program health
  • Prepare clear, concise status updates and materials for leadership reviews and check-ins
  • Communicate clear asks, priorities, and follow-ups to functional teams to support execution and unblock issues
  • Partner with RTL TPMs, SoC TPMs, and other functional TPMs to support alignment on achievements, handoffs, and dependencies
  • Organize and maintain clean, well-structured program documentation and repositories
  • Support follow-up and closure of open actions, risks, and issues across verification and validation activities

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in program coordination, project management, or early-career technical program management roles
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis tools and ability to distill data and streamlining processes with the goal of preventing operational issues
  • Solid program management fundamentals, including planning support, tracking, reporting, and follow-through
  • Proficiency with program management tools, such as Microsoft Project, trackers, and shared dashboards
  • Familiarity with SoC verification and validation flows, including pre-silicon validation concepts (emulation, FPGA, models)
  • Ability to understand execution data well enough to sanity-check metrics and status
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to:
  • Provide concise, accurate updates upward
  • Communicate clear needs and follow-ups to functional teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in a supporting role within a matrixed, global organization

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:
  • Experience organizing and maintaining execution data to ensure accuracy, currency, and reliability
  • Ability to provide clear access to leadership on status, risks, and progress
  • Strong skills in maintaining schedules, trackers, and documentation in a clear and consumable format
  • Experience tracking emulation and FPGA readiness for software, performance, and power validation activities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive actions, manage issues and dependencies, and follow items through to closure
  • Proven experience coordinating across functional teams with clear communication and timely follow-up

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
