Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Fractional Technical Project Manager with PMP certification to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a range of projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical projects in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment and a proven track record of delivering complex projects, leading project teams and stakeholders, driving results, and ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. This role is a fractional role and will initially require 10-15 hours of work a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end technical project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure they are clearly communicated to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Ensure that project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests, are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and project retrospectives.
  • Ensure that project delivery adheres to best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment and provide mentorship and guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • PMP certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing software projects.
  • Proven experience in managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience using project management platforms, including Wrike and other similar tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively.
  • Experience working with clients in Private Equity and/or Fintech a plus
